Have you ever wondered how yarn is made? The art of spinning yarn has been practiced across cultures for thousands of years. Some say the practice is as old as civilization itself. In this class, you will learn how to craft your own drop spindle and learn the basics of handspinning with wool and alpaca fibers.

This class will teach you how to make prints using found natural materials like plants, bark, feathers, moss and more. We will go for a short walk outside to the park and collect several found objects, and bring these back to the studio to print with. No printing experience is necessary.
